VMSAcademy offers professional short courses for 2008. The principle lecturers for the courses are drawn from Carpe Diem, the University of Wollongong and, a range of specialist Visiting Fellows, as well as a number of other guest lecturers from relevant Commonwealth Government departments and agencies. All participants will be issued with course materials and notes, and a certificate on completion of the course. Places are limited and restricted to Regional Fisheries Management Organisations and Government Agencies. Registrations will be accepted in the order in which they are received.

VMSAcademy is pleased to announce its 2008 professional VMS course program, which will comprise the following:

• Installation of Automatic Location Devices (ALCs) (9-13 June 2008)
• Vessel Monitoring Systems (November 2008)
